Transforming a small, empty backyard into a true extension of the home, this garden design creates the illusion of a much larger space using a trompe l’oeil effect. Texture, form, line, and color work together to deceive the eye, making the area feel expansive. A false perspective lawn draws the eye to a captivating focal point at the back, crafted from Corten steel and cleverly lit from both sides. A stainless steel mirror behind the front grid enhances the sense of spatial expansion. On each side, the composition’s weight of colors, forms, and textures gradually reduces as the eye moves towards the endpoint, creating a harmonious and visually intriguing outdoor retreat. This design seamlessly blends art and nature, offering a unique and enchanting outdoor experience.
